Reporting a Safeguarding Concern

Our Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people. We expect all pupils, staff, volunteers and visitors to share this commitment.

The academy ensures that pupils learn in a safe, caring and enriching environment. Children are taught how to keep themselves safe, to develop positive and healthy relationships and how to avoid situations where they might be at risk including being exploited.

Below is our Designated Safeguarding Team:-

Janine Dix, Headteacher

Libby Tabbenor: Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead

Stephen Schmidt: Senior Head of Centre

Rob Galvin: Head of Nurture

Emma Davis: Assistant Headteacher

We also have safeguarding support from Hannah Longley, Esteem Safeguarding Lead and Head of FASST.

Libby Tabbenor can be contacted during the school holiday with any concerns via email at libby.tabbenor:nedsc.derbyshire.sch.uk or academy mobile phone on 07548 837344.

See linked academy staffing structure for DSLs.
